After a raid or spar there is much commotion going on around a girl so she must be able to stay focused, and attend to the Master who's very life may lay in their hands.
Treat each Master as if it were her own during a spar, They need to know that a girl's eyes are only on Them and that only Their presence matters to a girl. If a girl gets flustered or confused as to what she is doing ask a Healer or senior girl.
No two wounds are the same although treatment may be the same. Each one should be treated in the best manor a girl can.
Never be afraid to ask for help sisters work together always.
Med kits are kept at each set of furs. Supplies for most wounds are kept in the med room inside the servery. After first aid is given the person is moved to the Medical Room. Ask a free to assist in moving if necessary.
***A girl is never to touch a weapon with her bare hands, always grasp the weapon with a rep cloth to remove it from the Rarius***
1. 1. After a raid or spar, ask the Master to describe His wounds.
2. Assess the wounds, tending to the most severe first. As each wound is cared for move to the next most severe until each wound is treated.
3. From the Med kit beside the furs use a rep cloth and sterile water to clean the blood and dirt from the wound. If sterile water is unavailable paga can be used.
4. Wipe the wound clean again, assess the depth of the wound, and apply salve to the wound. Dried Blue Grass salve can be used without the harmful side effects of Kanda slave.
5. If the wound requires stitches wait until the wound is numb and carefully stitch the wound closed, using small stitches.
6. If the wound needs more than stitches, it may need to be seared shut using a hot iron. Be sure the iron is red hot before searing the wound. Irons are kept on the fire in case they're needed.
7. Cleanse the wound with more sterile water or paga, then apply more salve and bandage with strips of rep cloth.
8. Ask Master to please drink herbal tea containing the green herbal powder as it will speed His healing and fight against infection.
9. if at any time a girl feels she is over her head PM and ask for help.
Girls in personal ko'lar will attend to their owner first then ask if any others need assistance to their sisters. If tending to more than one Master, field dress the wounds of the first Master then assess the 2nd Master dressing more severe wounds.
